Q: What was the reason for using the band name "Raped Christ"?

A: See the answer for the question about our lyrical themes for this.

Q: You formed the band in 2012 in Szczecin, Poland. Was it hard to find a full-line up, or how did you guys came together and formed the band?

A: Raped Christ was formed by Mistrz (bass guitar) in I think April of that year along with Papież Pedofil (murder/vomit) and Grzech (church devastation), a few months later I auditioned for the lead vomit position and Mistrz approved. It went easy when it happened, though half a year before joining I didn't imagine a band playing in this particular style going on in Szczecin, let alone with myself involved. I considered myself lucky cause it all just fit, stylistically, personally. Mistrz really has our deepest gratitude.

Q: "Possessed Whore" is your first release, which has been released this year. What is the concept behind and what can the fans expect from the album?

A: It just felt right to keep close to the "feel" of 90's black metal underground with this material, we weren't into either the latest fashion trend at the time or passing computer science as metal music, instead we wanted to focus on making the vibe of our music resemble a disgusting and joyfully perverse reality of Hell to match the lyrical subject matter. Fans who seek straight forward, sadistic and cruel relief can expect just that, if they get it out of "Possessed Whore" we're glad and Mistrz has probably achieved some of his mysterious goals.

Q: What lyrical theme do you use in your music? What message do you want to send?

A: Our lyrics are a very dirty form of blasphemy against Christian religion, we think Christianity is inherently ridiculous, now I don't believe in any religion but some out there are/were designed to uplift, Christianity as we've known it for some two thousand years now was made to tailor the people into stupefied, confused and humiliated flock and we think that's complete and intolerable bullshit. Therefore we don't have remorse in subjecting the Christian so-called values to the most disgusting, perverted and degrading profanations we can come up with, besides it's fun. Fuck organized religion, we follow only Mistrz.

Q: Do you have a favorite song on "Possessed Whore" ?

A: On the record I don't know, they all turned out at least OK to me. For playing live I think I enjoy the title track and "Jesus Christ Slain in a Gas Chamber" most, also an unrecorded song titled "Heart braided by the Serpent"

Q: How did you got in contact with your label "Hellfire Records" and "Societas Oculorum Arcanorum"?

A: I'm not sure, I guess the other guys in the band had known the guys behind the two labels and it just happened. Anyway they're people we know, it's not like mail-only contact or something like that.

Q: What can you tell the readers about the cover art of "Possessed Whore"?

A: It's a photo we found, edited slightly, and used. Hopefully we're not getting any kind of legal rights shit when we're indecently rich and famous and Mistrz is the leader of a worldwide religious/philosophical movement. It depicts a half-naked, binded woman in SM stylings with a catholic cross hanging from her neck and between her tits, it's subtle compared to our lyrics but goes well with them, creates some kind of concept.

Q: What artists have influenced your band and its music?

A: All riffs on "Possessed Whore" were created under the influence of mainly Beherit's "Drawing down the moon", Darkthrone's "Under a funeral moon" and Necrophagia's "Holocausto de la morte", we've been compared to Impaled Nazarene but in my opinion there's only 2 or 3 riffs that sound kinda like them, which were written before I joined and Papież Pedofil who comes up with riffs didn't listen to IN before I turned him into them. I admittedly am a huge fan of their 92-98 stuff though and I don't deny Mika's influence on my vomit. Also Carpathian Forest might have influenced the band's conception, we play "Sadomasochistic" live to this day.

Q: What is your opinion on genres like Metalcore & Deathcore?

A: I never enjoyed anything I heard in those genres, to me that kind of stuff is an extension of nu metal shit, especially deathcore with it's stylings and posings, I wish people wouldn't do things like that, it's stupid and kind of annoys me when I'm exposed to it.

Q: What is the main source of inspiration when writting new music?

A: Mistrz.

Q: What are your plans for this year exactly?

A: We have some gigs in Poland planned, one in Wrocław in the end of May with Polish black metallers Amarok and some other bands, then one in Szczecin, then we'll see. Working on new material, and besides that we're planning on getting drunk everyday, pissing in holy water, indulging in perverted fucking, insulting Christ and his followers, reading de Sade's "120 days of Sodom" again, too.

Q: Do you have any shout outs to give the readers?

A: Respect Mistrz... or die.
