Q: What was the reason for using the band name "Strike Avenue"?

A: There is no particular reason. Isa bit like saying that we are a strike that comes from the road, that is very direct.


Q: How many shows have you played, and which one has been your favorite thus far?

A: We played at least 30 gigs. Our favorite it's definitely the show along with the Sadist (the most important death/progressive metal band from Italy). We stopped for a period, and then we suspended the show. But now we have taken over the business and we live in the great.


Q: What lyrical theme do you guys use in your music? What message do you want to send?

A: Our lyrics are inspired mainly about movies. We do not want to send any message, if not the music that will be more violent and brutal.


Q: What song do you enjoy playing live the most?

A: All the songs are fun to be played. Predators is probably our most successful piece.


Q: What artists have influenced your band and its music?

A: Meshuggah, Lamb of God, The Acacia Strain, Dream Theater, Molotov Solution, Whitechapel, Cannibal Corpse. Deathcore and metalcore are kinds of music mostly made influential.


Q: If a fan wants to get a tattoo with one line from your lyrics, which line should he/she take?

A: "NO PAIN. NO FEAR. NO REMEROSE. ELITE SQUAD."


Q: If you would have the possibily to open one big festival, what festival would it be?

A: Certainly "Gods Of Metal" and "Ozzfest".


Q: What is the main source of inspiration when writting new music?

A: Ourselves, and the total freedom in the composition phase.


Q: What are your plans for this year exactly?

A: Composition, recording and promotion of the single and of the new album that will be released in 2013.
